Suntoon Studio is a creative animation studio based in Indonesia, dedicated to transforming visual art into motion, meaning, and memorable experiences. We specialize in animating paintings—breathing life into brushstrokes through movement, immersive storytelling, and augmented reality—while preserving the soul of each artwork.

From exhibitions, galleries, and museums to social media and personal collections, we collaborate with artists, collectors, and institutions to reimagine visual expression through animation. We also produce experimental and artist animated films, working closely with creators to help bring their stories to life on screen.

Suntoon is also behind several animated films for the Rimbun Project, a participatory art initiative that turns contributors’ drawings into imaginative animated works. Whether it’s a single animated canvas or a full-length film, we support every step of the creative journey—where fine art meets animation.
